Visit from the youth organization “Youth Dynamics”

The youth organization “Youth Dynamics” organized a three-day educational excursion on the theme "Discovering Mountainous Cyprus" between 10-12 March 2023. The purpose of the trip, in which 60 young people aged 13-30 years participated, was to introduce the young people to the cultural and environmental core of our country, to contact nature and to cultivate environmental and ecological awareness.

Through the educational excursion, the young people had the opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and the environmental wealth of the villages of the Troodos region, while at the same time they got to know the beauties, the lifestyle, the habits, and the special characteristics of the rural inhabitants. Thus, they gained more knowledge regarding the cultural heritage of our country, appreciated the natural beauties of our island, and discovered a different Cyprus compared to what they experience in cities and urban centers. This will help them to cultivate environmental awareness and to try themselves to preserve the customs and traditions of our country.
