''The Troodos Geopark Visitor Center participated in the 24th annual Travel Expo Cyprus tourist exhibition''

The Troodos Geopark Visitor Center participated in the 24th annual Travel Expo Cyprus tourist exhibition which took place at the state fair, in Nicosia on Saturday April 22nd,2023.

We were very happy to see young and old enthusiastic visitors getting to know the Troodos Geopark from different tools and materials. 

Furthermore, with our newest addition, from an EU funded program called GEO-STARS we were able to introduce the planets of our Solar System with the use of Virtual Reality (VR) to all the children that were willing to “travel” with us. 

They also learned about unique rocks and fossils that our Troodos has and participated in the board game (created by another EU funded program called GEO-in) of questions concerning the Troodos Geopark.

We thank the Υφυπουργείο Τουρισμού - Deputy Ministry of Tourism  for the opportunity to participate in the exhibition.
